Toslink connectors are commonly found in cable-boxes, TV sets, subwoofers and other such products. The 3.5mm Mini-Optical connector (sometimes known as Mini-Toslink) is popular amongst the 3.5mm dual-purpose headphone jack on a Mac laptop as well as on the inputs of most digital audio players. The special AudioQuest OptiLink cables connect such Toslink to Toslink and Toslink to 3.5mm Mini Optical devices. It features low-dispersion fibre and a finely polished optical interface for low jitters (digital timing errors).
